Edmonton Made is a collaborative Program led by Edmonton Economic Development Corporation (EEDC) and supported by the City of Edmonton.

It's about providing the best possible environment for local entrepreneurs, making it easier and faster to thrive and grow. The Edmonton Made program is two-fold: (1) Creating an identity for Edmonton Made businesses, and (2) Raising awareness of existing programs available for Edmonton entrepreneurs.

How did this project come about?

The Emerging Economy Committee, led by Councillor Michael Oshry, saw the opportunity to create a program that celebrates Edmonton’s many successful businesses while working with entrepreneurs and support organizations to create solutions that enable more businesses to thrive and succeed.

Building on the success of the Small Business Open Window Support program, which offers one-on-one assistance to small business owners as they look for locations and apply for permits, Edmonton Made exists to inform and empower our city's entrepreneurs. We're driven by a belief in the impact and importance of a thriving business community in the Edmonton region.
