As a university student, Benjamin Oswald had the chance to spend several days in Washington, D.C. exploring the Hirshhorn Museum and sculpture garden at the Smithsonian Institution. He fell in love with the sculpture of Henry Moore and the woodcuts of Picasso, deepening his desire to make things and explore shapes and the spaces they occupy. Benjamin works in ceramic art and sculpture. His work is available at select galleries and shops in Edmonton.
