Mixed media is Doris Charest’s favourite form of painting and she loves exploring textures and shapes with a more contemporary look. She started by adding ink to watercolors, then began experimenting with different papers, adding string, cement or collage to her pieces. Doris has a Bachelors in Fine Arts and a Masters in Visual Art Education. She teaches workshops online and in person and she has published a colouring book called Colouring Alberta.
