Lori Frank Fine Artist
Lori Frank has worked her whole life toward becoming a full-time artist — carefully balancing financial responsibility and creative satisfaction with each corporate job she took.
In 2013, on her birthday, Frank left a successful career as a media account executive to pursue her life-long dream. It was the most empowering birthday gift ever.
“I could have continued to find excuses to not take away the safety net and pursue my art full time,” says Frank. “But I couldn’t live with the regret of not knowing what I could create by taking it to the next level.”
For the past seven years, Frank has captured the green and gold hues of Edmonton’s river valley — North America’s largest urban parkland — in her unique impressionist style.
In order to make your passions a reality you have to be brave, be courageous, believe in yourself and go for it.
