The final piece in the puzzle is in place at the Ritchie Market development as Blind Enthusiasm Brewing Company’s brewpub, Biera, opened last week.
Biera joins three other local businesses – Transcend Coffee, ACME Meats and Creekside Cyclery – in the commercial space at 95 Street and 76 Avenue, which has been open since March.
The development was planned through the city of Edmonton’s Corner Store program, which aims to revitalize commercial spaces in mature neighbourhoods. It’s been getting a lot of buzz in the media – the latest is this story by Metro Edmonton on the role the Ritchie Market, and other community oriented developments, can play in our neighbourhoods.
