An exciting new batch of products will be featured in the second edition of Gifted, Edmonton Made’s signature catalogue.

On May 7, our selection panel, comprised of local industry, business and design experts, narrowed down over 300 submissions to a list of 111 products from 84 different businesses and makers.

Designed to make shopping local easy for locals, tourists and businesses, Gifted brings together the best the city has to offer in both a beautifully designed print catalogue and a convenient online shopping experience.

This year a maximum of two products from the each business could have been selected for inclusion in the catalogue to allow for more diversity.

Not only have we doubled the number of businesses featured in the catalogue (last year we had 99 products by 42 businesses), most participating businesses are new to the catalogue — meaning Gifted will give exposure to even more homegrown talent this year.

"We are so excited about the growth of Edmonton Made with nearly double the amount of businesses registered as compared to this time last year" Laura Tailleur, Edmonton Made Program Manager said. "There's such a diversity of great businesses that are based in Edmonton and we can't wait to dive in and tell their stories through Gifted."

Additionally, we're bringing back our popular social media cover contest, which will go live on our social accounts on Tuesday, May 22. Panelists have chosen their favourite product and we are turning to the public to help us decide which one deserves the cover.

Be sure to cast a vote to ensure your favourite product is featured front and centre.

Thank to everyone who submitted to Gifted. We are excited to see so many quality products being made by companies in our own backyard.

The second edition of Gifted will include products from the following businesses:
