Where to shop Edmonton Made downtown

By Michelle Ferguson October 24, 2018

Once  the hub of Edmonton's fur trade industry, the historic 104th Street promenade -- the heart of downtown's shopping district --is now a cosmopolitan pedestrian area with uniquely Edmonton experiences.

You can find goods from the Edmonton Made Gifted Catalogue at these fine downtown shopping district retailers:

A trip to California served as inspiration for habitat etc. After discovering a store focused on unique, local wares in San Diego, Annie Parent decided to bring a similar concept to her hometown of Edmonton. Handmade products were experiencing a resurgence and she wanted to give local makers a place to sell their products and teach their craft. Located in the 100-year-old McKenney building on the 104th Street promenade, habitat etc specializes in home goods, apparel, paper goods and gifts.

*habitat etc has moved to an online store only as of June 2019. Check them out here.
